Positive business results continue

Novo mesto, 16 November 2006 – At a press conference today, Jože Colarič, Head of the Krka Management Board, and board members presented the operating results for the first three-quarters of the year, which it discussed at its meeting yesterday, and which were also assessed as very successful by the Supervisory Board. The Krka Group recorded sales worth SIT 120.1 billion (EUR 501 million), an increase of 23% compared to the same period last year. It achieved an operating profit of SIT 26.8 billion (EUR 111.9 million) which is a growth of 34% on last year, and a pre-tax profit of SIT 26.0 billion (EUR 108.5 million), representing growth of 27%. The net profit grew 28% to SIT 19.1 million (EUR 79.8 million). The planned sales for 2007 are expected to reach EUR 0.75 billion.
