• KRKA – winner of 2009 PORTAL prize for exemplary IR and CG - for the third consecutive year

  Ljubljana, 17 December 2009 - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange has awarded its 14th annual Portal prize, which compliments exemplary investors relations and corporate governance. Krka has been awarded the prize stressing the company’s openness toward all interest groups in Slovenia for the third consecutive year. This achievement proves that people at Krka are well aware of the importance of openness and corporate communication with the existing as well as with potential shareholders and that they successfully present Krka’s business story to investors, analysts and other interest groups.
  
• Krka presented January to September operating results and future plans

  Novo mesto, 5 November 2009 ― The Management Board of the Krka public limited company today held a press conference to present the business results of the Krka Company and Krka Group for January to September 2009 and plans for next 5 year period, which were also discussed by the Supervisory Board at its meeting yesterday. The Chief Executive and President of the Management Board Jože Colarič announced that the results for first nine month were good for both the Krka Group and the Krka Company. Over the period the Krka Group sold products and services worth EUR 689.9 million (nearly EUR 2 million more than on the same period of 2008), and generated a net profit of EUR 108.3 million. The Krka Company sold products worth EUR 614.7 million and generated a net profit of EUR 113.3 million over the period. The Krka Group is planning sales growth of 6% in coming year.
  
• Jože Colarič receives a high Russian decoration

  Ljubljana, 2 October 2009 – The Russian President Dmitry Medvedev earlier this April issued a special Decree about conferring the Order of Friendship on Jože Colarič, Krka’s Chief Executive and President of the Management Board. Today the Russian Ambassador to Slovenia Dr Mikhail Valentinovič Vanin solemnly conferred the decoration on Jože Colarič at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ljubljana.
  
• Half-year operating results for the Krka Group and Company

  Novo mesto, 30 July 09 ― The Management Board of the Krka public limited company today held a press conference to present the business results of the Krka Company and Krka Group for the first half of 2009, which were also discussed by the Supervisory Board at its meeting yesterday. The Chief Executive and President of the Management Board Jože Colarič announced that the results were good for both the Krka Group and the Krka Company. In the first half of 2009 the Krka Group sold products and services worth EUR 477.8 million and generated a net profit of EUR 78.1 million. The Krka Company generated a profit of EUR 82.8 million over the period. Supervisory board named Management for the new mandate.
  
• Fourteenth Krka Annual General Meeting

  Otočec, 2 July 09 – The fourteenth Annual General Meeting of the pharmaceutical company Krka, d.d., Novo mesto took place today at 13.00 at Hotel Šport in Otočec. The shareholders present represented 39.28% of equity with voting rights. This year the share dividend was set at EUR 1.05 gross per share.
  
• Operating results for the Krka Group and Company for the first quarter of 2009

  Novo mesto, 14 May 2009 - The Management Board of the Krka public limited company today held a press conference to present the business results of the Krka Group and Krka Company for the first quarter of 2009, which were discussed by the Supervisory Board at its meeting yesterday. The Krka Group posted sales of products and services worth EUR 245.2 million, and generated a net profit of EUR 43.9 million, while the Krka Company recorded sales of EUR 216.2 million generating a net profit of EUR 42.2 million. Management has announced also the information that European Patent Office has revoked two patents which relate to the active ingredient atorvastatine and which alleged infringement have been claimed in Slovenia in 2005.
  
• Krka Receives Energy Efficient Company Award

  At the 11th Energy Managers Days in Slovenia Krka received its second award for an energy efficient company. Slovene energy managers for 2009 became Krka's own Andrej Paternost, MSc, Head of Primary Energy Supply Services, and Matej Bašelj, MSc, Krka's energy manager.
  
• Proposed dividend for Krka shareholders over 15% higher than last year

  Novo mesto, 9 April 2009 - At yesterday's regular meeting, the Krka Supervisory and Management Board drew up the proposal that Krka pay its shareholders a dividend of EUR 1.05 gross per share, which is an increase of over 15% on last year's dividend. The Supervisory Board also studied the sales results of the Krka Group and Krka Company for the first quarter of 2009. Krka Group's sales during the first quarter of 2009 were at a level similar to the same period last year, while Krka Company sales were up by 3%. The Krka Group achieved sales of products and services worth EUR 245.2 million, while the Krka Company's sales were worth EUR 216.2 million.
  
• Computers Come Nowhere Near Brain Capacity and Capability

  Human brain is the most complex and the most evolved system on the planet. It is a complex network of nerves comprising the nervous system weighing no more than one and a half kilogram. The capacity of the brain to store information is nothing short than amazing; we could store thousands of new pieces of information into the brain for every single second of our lives from birth till death and there would still be plenty of room for more. Recent experiments showed that we can remember absolutely everything that happens to us.
  
• Krka's 2008 Operations
  22 January 2009
  Novo mesto, 22 January 2009 – At a press conference today, the Krka Management Board presented the operating results for the Krka Company and the Krka Group in 2008, which were discussed and assessed as positive by the company's Supervisory Board yesterday. Jože Colarič, President of the Management Board, announced that the Krka Company had sold products worth EUR 826 million, which is 20% higher than in 2007. Sales of the Krka Group were 22% higher than in 2007 at EUR 950 million. Net profit will be within planned EUR 160 million. Unaudited financial statements of the Krka Group and Krka Company will be released at the end of February. Supervisory Board appointed Jože Colarič to act as President of the Management Board for the new six-year mandate.
  
• Krka’s acted properly during the European Commission’s visit

  The Securities Market Agency provided to Krka an official announcement that no facts actually existed on whose basis Krka might be reproached for improper conduct as regards supplying information to the public and disclosure of controlled information on the visit of the European Commission’s representatives.
