• Krka expands and renovates its packaging warehouse and also installs its own solar power station

  Novo mesto, 19 November 2010 – Krka today opened the renovated and expanded facilities of the high-bay packaging warehouse. The investment worth 3.4 million EUR will improve warehouse’s flow capacity, reliability and increase storage capacity by 25%. The new warehouse surfaces were used to install a new solar power station, which will help reduce CO2 emissions and provide an additional, cheaper source of electricity.
  
• Krka presented its business results for the first nine months of 2010

  Novo mesto, 25 November 2010 – At a press conference today the Krka Management board presented the business results of the Krka Group and Krka Company for January to September 2010 and plans for 2011, which were discussed by the Company's Supervisory board at its meeting yesterday. In the first nine months the Krka Group sold products and services worth EUR 726.6 million, 5% more than for the same period in last year. They generated a net profit of EUR 120.9 million, which is 12% more than for the same period last year. The Krka Company achieved sales of EUR 692.8 million (growth of 13 %) and a net profit of EUR 132.0 million, representing growth of 17%. The Krka Group is planning 6% growth of sales for the next year.
  
• Krka presents results for first half of 2010

  Novo mesto, 29 July 2010 - At a press conference today the Krka Management Board presented the business results of the Krka Group and Company for the first half of 2010, which were studied by the Company's supervisory board at its meeting yesterday. Over the period the Group sold products and services worth EUR 500.0 million and generated a net profit of EUR 91.2 million, which is 17% more than for the same period last year. The Krka Company with sales worth EUR 477.5 million EUR recorded a profit of EUR 98.6 million, with growth of 19%.
  
• Fifteenth Krka Annual General Meeting
  18 June 2010
  Otočec, 17 June 2010 – The fifteenth Annual General Meeting of the pharmaceutical company Krka, d. d., Novo mesto took place today at 13.00 at Hotel Šport in Otočec ob Krki. The shareholders present represented 39.54% of equity with voting rights. This year the share dividend was set at EUR 1.10 gross per share.
  
• Krka presented its business results for the first quarter of 2010

  Novo mesto, 13 May 2010 – The Management Board of the Krka public limited company today held a press conference to present the business results of the Krka Group and Krka Company for the first quarter of 2010, which were also discussed by the company’s Supervisory Board. In first three months of this year the Krka Group sold products and services worth EUR 246.1 million, and generated a net profit of EUR 47.1 million, which is 7% up on the same first quarter period last year. The Krka Company sold products worth EUR 231.4 million and generated, in the first quarter of this year, a profit of EUR 49.5 million, with growth of 17%.
  
• Krka's plant Bršljin – a modern plant for the manufacture of syrups, animal health products and products with biocidal effect.

  Novo mesto, 23 April 2010 – A ceremony was held at the opening of reconstructed and new facilities at Krka's Bršljin production site: a reconstructed modern plant for the production of syrups and a new separate building for the production of products with biocidal effect. The investment worth EUR 26 million is yet another concluded phase in the line of the company's technological and production development investments. The concept of the project is the result of knowledge and teamwork of Krka's experts.
  
• Krka operations in 2009

  Novo mesto, 21 January 2010 – At a press conference today, the Krka Management Board presented sales results for the Krka Company and the Krka Group and preliminary unaudited net profit for the Krka Company in 2009, which were discussed by the company's Supervisory Board yesterday. The President of the Management Board, Jože Colarič, announced that Krka Company had sold products worth EUR 850.1 million, which is 3% more than in 2008. Sales for the Krka Group were worth EUR 1.1 million more than sales in the previous year, totalling EUR 951.0 million. The net profit of the Krka Company (based on the preliminary unaudited statements), taking into account the reversal of provisions and the formation of new provisions, will be over EUR 170 million, which is 6% more than in 2008. It is anticipated that the net profit of the Krka Group will be slightly higher than the Company’s profit. The unaudited financial statements for the Krka Group and Company will be published at the end of February.
