KRKA-POLSKA receives prestigious award from the Polish Pharmaceutical Gazette

On 14 May 2010, the Day of Polish Pharmacy was celebrated in Warsaw and the most influential specialist magazine in Poland, the Pharmaceutical Gazette organised an annual conference. The theme of this year's event was "Medicine for the patient or patient for the medicine?" The conference has been organised eight times already and this year saw the attendance of over 200 influential representatives from the Polish pharmaceutical sector, the field of medicine, journalism and large pharmaceutical companies. 

The conference offered debates on current issues, including reimbursement of medicinal products and the planned legislative changes prepared by the Ministry of Health - the Polish reimbursement system was compared to the systems of other EU countries. The conference concluded with an award ceremony where KRKA-POLSKA achieved great success; David Bratož, director of KRKA-POLSKA, received "The Leader of Management" award for effective strengthening of the company's market position and business results generated by Krka on the Polish market. This prestigious award demonstrates that KRKA-POLSKA has a great range of products which Polish physicians, pharmacists and patients note for their quality, high effectiveness and affordable price.

Krka has been operating on the Polish market since 1974; the modern production-distribution centre was opened in 2001 in Warsaw, allowing the company to obtain the status of a domestic manufacturer. The products manufactured at KRKA-POLSKA are intended for the Polish market as well as other markets of Krka.
