On Friday, 20 September, Krka employees joined the European Mobility Week for the ninth consecutive year. In efforts to contribute to environmental care, employees from 13 countries where Krka operates took part in Krka’s Car-Free Day campaign. Sustainable commuting is no longer just a one-time event, but a visible shift in travel habits.

To mark the occasion of Innovation Day, the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) presented annual innovation awards for achievements to Slovenian companies. Krka’s researchers won the gold award for tapentadol prolonged-release tablets for relief of severe pain, and the silver award for dabigatran used to treat and prevent thromboembolic events.

A ceremonial event marked our anniversary year with the unveiling of a new book alongside Krka’s Girl with the Growing Book sculpture. The sculpture, standing proudly on the platform in front of our two most advanced pharmaceutical production facilities, has been enriched with a new book.
