When you create a user profile and enter your information into our job-seeker database or when you apply for a job at Krka in Slovenia or any of our subsidiaries around the world, you give us some of your personal data. We want to explain to you how we collect, use, store and disclose personal data.

Which personal data do we process?

By creating a user profile on our website, you disclose your full name, e-mail address and telephone number to us. When you activate your user profile, you can add your photo and address.

IIf you complete a job application form or enter your information in our job-seeker database, you disclose even more information about yourself to us (apart from your full name, e-mail address and telephone number): home address, CV, formal education, work experience, other skills and competencies, photo and other personal information.

What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?

Any personal data obtained from your user profile and our job-seeker database are processed because you have given us your consent. Personal data from the jobapplication form you filled in are processed because this is necessary for the conclusion of the employment contract.

You can withdraw your consent anytime and request that your personal data be rendered anonymous by contacting us at recruitment.dataprotection@krka.biz.

Why do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data to create your user profile, to include you in Krka’s recruitment process, to inform you about job vacancies, recruitment events and interesting new and various forms of cooperation, to send you job alerts, and to conclude an employment contract if you are successful in your job application.

Where are your personal data kept?

Any personal data you provide to us are held by our contract data processor Cornerstone OnDemand Europe Limited, 4 Coleman Street, London, EC2R 5AR, United Kingdom in the European Unionpursuant to a personal data processing contract concluded under EU personal data protection rules, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Any personal data you provide us with on Krka’s website in the Russian Federation are held by our contract data processor Cornerstone OnDemand Europe Limited in the Russian Federation and the European Union.

How long is your personal data stored for?

Personal data from your user profile (e.g. full name, e-mail address, telephone number, home address, city, country, photo) are stored for 24 months from the day you created it or from the day you last used it, whichever is later. Before the end of this period, you will receive an e-mail about the automatic anonymisation of your data unless you renew your consent – you will also have the choice to do this.

Personal data you submit when completing a job application form or enter in our job-seeker database (e.g. CV, other documents and information), and any data generated during the application process (e.g. interview, aptitude test, assessment of competences, exchanged e-mails, comments) shall be kept for 24 months from the date the successful job candidate is selected. After that, these data shall be erased automatically and permanently.

Who can access and use your personal data?

Only Krka employees who are involved in the recruitment and selection process (e.g. HR employees, heads of organisational units where the work will be carried out and their supervisors, IT employees who have access to carry out their work) have access to your personal data.

HR employees in Krka and its global affiliates may use your personal data to alert you to suitable job opportunities. Your personal data shall not be disclosed to any other company nor exported to third countries without a proper legal basis.

How can you exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data transfer?

If you wish to access or correct your personal data, you can do so at any time in your user profile. For erasure, objection and restriction of processing and data transfer, contact us at recruitment.dataprotection@krka.biz.

If you have further questions about your personal data, you can send them to Krka’s data protection officer at dataprotection.officer@krka.biz.

If you believe that our data processing is in breach of applicable law, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Who is responsible for your personal data?

Krka and its affiliates ensure the protection of personal data, including protection against unlawful processing and loss, in accordance with the applicable law. Krka’s affiliate to which you are applying is the data controller and is responsible for your personal data. If you have simply created a user profile or registered in our job-seeker database, your personal data controller is Krka, tovarna zdravil, d. d., Novo mesto, Šmarješka cesta 6, 8501 Novo mesto, Slovenia.

What can you do if you do not consent to Krka’s privacy conditions for recruitment?

If you do not consent to Krka’s privacy conditions for recruitment, you will not be able to create a user profile and apply for a job vacancy or be included in our job-seeker database. Please note that Krka and its affiliates strictly respect the protection of personal data. Your personal data will only be used to apply for job vacancies in Krka and its affiliates, which you can specify in your application.
