MAIN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS FROM PERSPECTIVE OF KRKA GROUP
We strive to fulfil the United Nations’ sustainability goals and enhance the positive impact of Krka Group on the environment and stakeholders. We act in line with the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Our core business significantly contributes to Goal No. 3 – “Good health and well-being”. With preventive measures and treatment, we aim to help reduce cases of premature death due to infectious diseases, as well as promote mental health and well-being.
Krka employees embrace sustainable, energy-efficient transportation
On Friday, 22 September, Krka once again participated in European Mobility Week. The theme of this year’s campaign is Save energy. An increasing number of Krka employees, both from Slovenia and abroad, are adopting sustainable modes of transportation for their daily commutes.
Slavko Zupančič, first sustainability manager of the year
The Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry awarded the environmental sustainability manager award on the occasion of the annual World Environment Day for the first time. The award went to a Krka employee, Slavko Zupančič, Head of Environmental Protection.
Krka’s volunteers once again united by charity
During the 10th Krka’s Week of Charity and Volunteering and under the slogan Charity is also a part of us, we shared the values of volunteering, interpersonal assistance and intergenerational cooperation. Charity activities took place all over Slovenia, and the campaign was joined by Krka employees in 18 countries.
