Slavko Zupančič, first sustainability manager of the year

The Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry awarded the environmental sustainability manager award on the occasion of the annual World Environment Day for the first time. The award went to a Krka employee, Slavko Zupančič, Head of Environmental Protection.

The award acknowledges his long-term successful work in environmental protection, achieved results and good cooperation with the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Zupančič actively pursues environmental protection by presiding the Environment and Energy Section at the Chamber of Commerce of Dolenjska and Bela Krajina. He also acts as the vice president of the environment section at the Association of Chemical Industries of Slovenia of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He pointed out at the ceremony that the award was the result of Krka’s long-term work on social responsibility and sustainable management, and thanked everybody involved for their contribution to constant reduction of environmental impacts.
