Katja Čerpnjak
Project Manager, New Products

I was a holder of Krka’s scholarship and started my career at the company as a production technologist. I later became a researcher in the R&D department. In my current role as project manager, I plan, coordinate and manage the activities that comprise the phases from the development, to registration and culminating in the launch of a new product, as well as certain activities integral to the life-cycle of a new product.
My work is interdisciplinary and team-oriented. I serve as a link between various fields of expertise and cooperate with chemists, development and production technologists, analysts, co-workers who prepare marketing authorisation documentation, manage intellectual property, organise medical research, work in marketing and sales, purchasing and planning, co-workers who work in our subsidiaries abroad, and external partners.
Mine is a dynamic job that demands a sound understanding of various content, teamwork, matching people and tasks, decision making, creative thinking, responsibility and focus on set goals. My co-workers, who come from a wide range of educational backgrounds (pharmacy, chemistry, veterinary medicine) work extremely well together and my team is brimming with positive energy. We cover a wide range of categories, which means we constantly develop professionally and personally and have ample opportunity to develop our careers.
